3 days till Bonnaroo! I’m smiling just thinking about it. And this year, well I think some really crazy adventures will happen. Can’t wait!!

Less than a week away until Bonnaroo! It is slowly consuming all of my thoughts and making me procrastinate any sort of real work. So excited to be back in TN soon!

Things I’m thinking about at work as I procrastinate:
This past October, I got to visit my friend who lived in Knoxville at the time. I was extremely excited, since I had always heard Tennessee was just breathtakingly beautiful. Plus, we were heading out to Nashville so I could network with some music industry people and see if I could some day move there.
Of all the places I’ve lived and visited, Nashville and Tennessee still remain in my top three. The city is just big enough, but not too small. The surrounding areas are all perfect for anyone of any age. The people were some of the sweetest people I have ever met, and I am so glad to have been able to visit this great city.
When I heard about the flooding and saw some of the pictures, I was truly devastated. It saddens me to see such devastation in a place where everything was so great. I truly want to help out, if possible.
Since I’m now on the East Coast, I’ve been thinking of ways to help out. I’m heading to the area in June, so if anyone knows of any events I can help out at, please let me know by reblogging or replying to this. There was also a note entitled “An Open Post. A Call: A Night For Nashville,” about putting together a large benefit show to help people affected by the flooding. If interested in this or if you want to help, take a look and send them an email (located at the bottom of the post).
The other day, someone posted a link to this webstore called The Cool People Care Shoppe. In it, a shirt that says “We Are Nashville” is for sale, with all of the proceeds being donated to the area. I’m glad to say I ordered this shirt today, in my attempts to help out from the East Coast. If you want to purchase this shirt, click here.

Please take a moment this week to either donate to the relief funds, or just to say a prayer or send some good thoughts their way.
